The mandate

The mandate was to migrate a plastic pellets supply system for the plant. The existing system was outdated and the control was not appropriate for the plant expansion.

The solution

Since this system is at the heart of the production of this factory, a robust system had to be put in place.

The retrofit went as follows:

  • Design of an electrical panel
  • Addition of new vacuum pumps and pneumatic systems
  • Integration of new silos in the system and modification of the code in the programmable logic controller (PLC) and the operator screen (HMI)
  • Addition of remote I / O
  • Installation
  • Commissioning of the system without any production stoppage (Factory produced 24/7)
